Better Patient Outcomes and
New Revenue Stream with Tricella’s Remote Patient Monitoring Platform
Covered by Medicare
Starting on January 1st 2019 CMS created 3 new remote patient monitoring CPT codes; CPT 99453, CPT99454 and 99457 to encourage practices to implement digital health solutions. On January 1st 2020 CMS added CPT 99458 for additional 20 minutes of reviewing data. This enabled practices to improve patient outcomes through continuous monitoring while generating a new source of income. CMS acknowledges the heavy workloads of doctors and has approved non qualified medical and auxiliary staff under supervision of doctors to perform the tasks. Remote patient monitoring is not the same as telehealth services.

Tricella’s Robust Health Tracking Service correlates drug adherence data with physiological measurements.
Behavioral change starts with behavioral tracking. We made our devices simple to use so our patients would not be overwhelmed by technology. The patients use our devices no different than they would with traditional blood pressure monitors, blood glucose monitors and pillboxes. Our patented robust health technology works in the background making it integrate seamlessly in the patient’s lives. Tricella’s App is designed to be caregiver centric. Family members of the patient do the heavy lifting offsetting the workload of practitioners.
COVID-19
We understand that this pandemic has created significant amounts of hardship for patients and practices alike. Many practices have seen a significant downturn in patient visits, losing significant income. Tricella’s RPM services is designed to serve the most vulnerable patient population, those with hypertension, diabetes and co-morbidities ages 65+. With remote patient monitoring, doctors can still provide a certain level of care for the patients remotely while the patients are in the comfort of their own homes. Reducing their exposure to covid-19. During this period, Tricella wanted to take the initiative by increasing accessibility to our services by providing the monitoring devices at no cost to the practice and patients. We are also waiving setup fees for practices. This is the moment where we all come together and put health and life over profit.
